Dear friends of the Nicolas Gigot Foundation,
With less than 48 hours to go before the New Year festivities, I feel the urgent need to address you with these words: “Don’t forget us, don’t forget Nicolas’ eyes”. Thanks to your generosity and our various activities, this year we have been able to donate three devices to various hospitals (Braine L’Alleud-Hasselt-Antwerp), and a fourth, already acquired, will be handed over to the Lille hospital on January 26… but unfortunately, this is still not enough.
Yes, it’s not much compared to the number of patients who, like my son, are currently locked in their bodies. I have no intention of appealing to your generosity in the manner of Abbé Pierre in his day, but I humbly ask you to make one last donation this year. This Friday is the last possible day in 2023 for me to provide you with a tax certificate for a minimum donation of €40.
I simply invite you to let your heart speak for these patients who could one day be you, unfortunately, or your child, your parents, or your friends. Our motto is clear: “Break the silence, offer a voice!” Today, join us in breaking the silence with optical devices!
