Thanks to your generosity, we were able to make two vital donations in November. The first, a Tobii device, was donated to the Chirec hospital in Braine l’Alleud.

This was followed by another donation to the Jessa Hospital in Hasselt on November 7.
I would particularly like to salute two exceptional volunteers, Muriel and Christa Rouyr Poosen, who filled in my gaps in Dutch, making this final donation possible. Their contribution went far beyond training medical staff in the use of the Tobii machine: they coordinated interviews with the medical profession and the media, perfected the Dutch intensive care program, and added a touch of efficiency and heart. Their focus moves me deeply, and it’s no surprise that they are also life coaches (cfr: www.Umalifecoaching.be ).

Our mission doesn’t stop there. On December 11, we will deliver another Tobii device to the University Hospital of Antwerp (UZA), followed by the University Hospital of Lille in France. We are also considering the Citadelle hospital in Liège and Bastogne. The relief these Tobii devices bring to patients with profound communication disabilities is indescribable. Our bold aim is to spread this light throughout Europe, where tragedies occur. If you’d like to join this cause, don’t hesitate to become part of the team that’s gradually taking shape.
